La Cerena Chalet is a family mountain home in lower Moonridge that is less then a mile from Bear Mountain and SO close to the Golf Course and nearby restaurants. Catch the shuttle bus to the slopes just across Moonridge Rd. The kids will love the extra room to make snow angels and build a snowman on the large level side yard. The backyard is also fenced in for the safety of your kids and pooch.
Warm up near the wood burning fireplace in the cozy living room with lovely mountain decor and Flat Screen TV with Cable. Enjoy the smells of mountain home cooking in the adjacent kitchen with table that opens to seat 7 people (with table under the stairs). The kitchen is fully equipped except there is no dishwasher. There is a full bath downstairs and handy laundry room/mudroom with full size washer and dryer at the back of the house.
The downstairs bedroom has a NEW King bed. Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom has a king bed with TV and Cable, and the third bedroom has 2 queen beds and a twin bunk bed. The bedrooms share another full bath. A twin bed and TV for games and DVD player in the roomy alcove allows for more sleeping versatility and game playing.

Beautiful place, quiet location.
Checking in and out was simple, the house was spacious and felt like home in the brief time we were there. The rules we common sense and not overbearing. I hope to be able to rent out this exact property in the future!

Great location and ample room. We got lucky that it snowed, we have enough space throughout the house, even though it was cold outside the heater worked great. It was a block away from a wilderness area where we got to use our personal sleds.

Our cabin felt like home!! It was a perfect location for skiing, it is pet friendly and we loved the layout of cabin. It felt like home and it was easy to get answers from questions we had and would get answered immediately!! Thank you again

Staying at Big Bear was easy and fun. I cannot be happier with how the place was left for my group and Kenny + Laurel were great to work with. I would definitely recommend this place to others and hope to visit again soon.
