It is situated on a quiet, treed street next to the forest - just 1 mile to almost everything Big Bear has to offer, but away from the traffic and noise. The perfect escape! Did we mention the CENTRAL Air Conditioning and Heat?!
As you step into the Living Room, you are greeted with lovely, lodge-style decor, wood floors throughout, wood beam ceilings, and a cozy gas fireplace. Sit back and relax in the comfortable sofas or chairs and watch your favorite movie on the large flat screen TV. There is plenty of light from the large front slider that leads out to a wonderful deck. Here you will find a natural gas BBQ and seating/dining to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Back inside, there is a nicely equipped Kitchen with a dining table for 6 and another slider to the deck. Before you head upstairs, you will find a convenient half bath with a full-size washer and dryer.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a comfy queen bed and TV with Cable. Bedroom 2 has twin bunk beds, and Bedroom 3 has a twin over full bunkbed. The shared bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
Trailside Terrace is the perfect cabin if you are looking for a quiet getaway and want to be conveniently located to get out and experience all that Big Bear has to offer - all four seasons of the year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back! The house was comfortable with heating and a nice warm fireplace. Parking was slightly limited with 3 cars being allowed but the host recommended a great free and safe parking lot in the Village. Our favorite part was that the house is walking distance (about 10 minutes) from Snow Summit Ski Resort! We didnt have to pay for parking or utilize the shuttle which was awesome.

A three hour drive got us out of June gloom in San Diego to beautiful sunny skies in Big Bear. The house is centrally located and in a quiet neighborhood. It was clean and well stocked. We will definitely come back here again.

Cozy cabin, went with my family of 7, enough space for us all. Spent 4 nights had originally planned for 3 but we didnt want to leave, thank you for everything, the host was very courteous and answered our questions in a timely manner, would definitely stay here again.

We were happy to find this place for a memorable last-minute Thanksgiving family trip. Large enough for our group. Close to trails. Loved having two floors to spread out in. Fireplace was great. Trip was everything we hoped and more. Turns out the spacious kitchen/dining area - large and stocked with plenty of cookware, bakeware, some thoughtful pantry basics, was perfect for family to prepare and share our Thanksgiving meal. Loved using the pretty vintage china. Thought wed need more blankets but the heater was more than adequate.

Perfect place to stay, close to everything and quiet location away from any noise. Ken is super helpful with our needs and I even forgot my Apple Watch at the place and Ken was kind enough to let me pick it up few hours after check out. The place is really clean and has everything youll need - the fire 🔥 place is definitely a plus at this location. Thank you RS Vacation! Highly recommended!
