| Starting at the water`s edge of Big Bear Lake, the Holcomb Valley Trail Run brings runners deep into the heart of the most scenic area in Big Bear, Holcomb Valley. Breathtaking views of the San Gorgonio Wilderness Area, Big Bear Lake, and the surrounding valley can be seen from the miles of single track running along the Pacific Crest Trail. The Holcomb Valley Trail Run offers three separate distances: a 33-mile race, a 15-mile race, and a 7-mile race. Sections of the Pacific Crest Trail are part of each race course. This is some of the best trail running in Southern California; so sign up early, the race has sold out the past 5 years. |

Annual Carp Round-Up - June 18-19, 2022
| Welcome to Big Bear Municipal Water District`s 19th Annual Carp Round-Up! Take part in the reaping that helps control Big Bear Lake`s carp population. Participate as an individual hunter or as a team of two. All hunters have the choice of fishing by rod & reel or bow & arrow. Choose to fish from shore or by boat.
Prizes will be given for:
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place shoreline bowfishing teams
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place boat bowfishing teams
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place fishing only hunters
- Biggest Goldfish
- An optional 50/50 Biggest Carp Side Pool
- Biggest carp by weight
- Smallest carp by weight

Glow Golf #1- June 24-25, 2022
| Join us June 24 & 25 at Bear Mountain Golf Course for Glow Golf - a 9-hole extravaganza with a glow in the dark course and balls.

| The Big Bear Trail Riders will host the 28th annual Big Bear Run at Big Bear Mountain Resort, June 25-26. The event features a 2-day Dual Sport Motorcycle and Adventure Bike tour of the surrounding mountains and will include vendor activations and outdoor dining options. Bringing the family? The Big Bear Run is open to riders of all skill levels* and finisher plaques will be awarded to riders that complete Saturday`s Hard A-loop. Online registration is now open and advance payment is not required to participate**.Walk-ups are welcome the day of the event for registration. All participants with advance reservation and payments will receive a Big Bear Run t-shirt, GPS tracks of the ride, and entry to the awards banquet on Saturday night***. Walk-ups may receive a t-shirt, while supplies last. |
