The event tackles a range of trails, from moderate to difficult, offering options for a range of vehicles and driving skills. If you have a stock vehicle, you`ll go on appropriately rated trails, and, similarly, heavily modified vehicles can tackle more challenging trails. |

| Oktoberfest in May? YUP! Well sort of... The Annual Big Bear Lake Maifest is the little sister to Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, a traditional German springtime celebration that dates back to the 18th century.
While Maifest is scaled back a bit from her big sister Oktoberfest, there`s one thing for certain and that is she packs a big punch! Here`s what you can expect:

"Grill and Chill" KCBS State BBQ Championship - May 28-29, 2022
| The 2022 "Big Bear Grill & Chill" KCBS BBQ State Championship will be held in Big Bear Lake, CA at the Bartlett Events Area in The Village @ Big Bear Lake. The event is a KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition. All KCBS rules are in effect and will include Brisket, Pork Butt, Pork Ribs and Chicken. This year will be a double competition. People`s Choice will be limited to the first 10 teams. The People`s Choice portion is held on both event days (Saturday and Sunday) and will be surrounded by live music, vendor village, and more. |
