Forest Chalet is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin centrally located close to Snow Summit, the lake, the Village, and located just steps away from Big Bear Lake's National Forest. In the winter you will have amazing sledding and snow play opportunities, and in the summer, hiking trails are right outside your door.
Along with being recently remodeled, this cabin has plenty of amenities to make it feel like home. Forest Chalet offers everything you need for a wonderful vacation in the heart of Big Bear Lake. The cozy living room has a flat screen TV and a wood burning fireplace. The living room TV is set up to stream Netflix, etc. as well as a Blu-Ray Player and WiFi. The wonderful recently updated kitchen has granite counters and stainless appliances (including a NEW Dishwasher!) for the cook's delight.
You will enjoy the convenience of a downstairs bedroom with Cal. King bed and flat screen TV. This TV is also set up with a TV and has a Blu-Ray player. There is a full bath and washer and dryer on this level. The two upstairs bedrooms are very spacious. Guest Room one has a comfy queen bed, plus a twin bed and flat screen TV with Blu-Ray. The large "kid's room" sleeps up to 6 with a queen bed, 2 twin beds, and trundle beds underneath each twin. The added bonus of a Foosball table, flat screen TV/Blu-Ray, and Xbox 360 will make any kid happy! There is also a second full bath on this level for everyone's convenience.
Enjoy an evening meal on the spacious back deck while cooking up your favorite mountain meal on the BBQ and finish up the night soaking in the relaxing outdoor spa while your cares melt away. Convenient parking for 3 cars.

The cabin was perfect. It was beautiful. The house was very well equipped, the kitchen had everything you needed. The photos dont do justice, its way much nicer in person. Its in a perfect location close to everything and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. It was a perfect family getaway, definitely would go back here.

Perfect Stay - Everything was an A+. Every room felt comfortable and perfectly set-up. The front deck was great for morning coffee and the back deck was the best grill and chill weve seen in Big Bear. Great hot tub, awesome kid area upstairs. Laundry and kitchen were perfect as well. Well be back, thanks!!

We loved this cabin! Great location, plenty of space for 8 people, no issues with any of the amenities, and solid communication from the hosts. The bear decorations were super fun. We counted 120 bears in total (yes that includes every bear on the bedspread) but our favorite one was the lounging soap dish bear in the bathroom.

We had a great time at the Forest Chalet. We were a group of 4 mother/daughter pairs - a total of 8 people - perfect for the size of the cabin. The property was clean, exactly as advertised, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to Snow Summit. It even snowed one night while we were there. It was magical! We would definitely stay there again. We had a great stay at Forest Chalet. It was a good combination of rustic and modern. It felt clean, we were comfortable, and all the necessities were provided. Our plan was to hang out and play in the snow and the front yard provided that. The cabin is also close to Snow Summit (25 minute walk) but far enough away to avoid the crazy traffic. Its a very peaceful and beautiful area and would consider staying again. Communication with our host was also good and they were helpful and accommodating. Thanks so much!

Communication with the owners was incredible. Every time I reached out, they would immediately respond with any updates or info I needed. The house was amazing. Pictures do not do it Justice. We had a great getaway and will definitely plan on coming back to this home. No regrets at all!!

Great stay! Perfect for groups that want to snowboard/ski, as it is only a 3-5 minute drive to Snow Summit. Couldnt have asked for a better location. Rs was very helpful and answered all our questions before/during/after our stay. The cabin is warm and cozy, also has lots of board games and a foosball table for those that wont be spending their time on the slopes. This place gets my recommendation, and I look forward to booking it again if available in the future.

We stayed here with our grown children and 2 young children for a long weekend. We loved our stay in this cozy cabin! The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, utensils, etc, and the beds were comfortable. We did stay on a weekend when the temps were in the mid-80s and it was warm inside in the afternoon (no A/C that we were aware of), but it cooled off nicely with the windows open in the evening. Communication with the rental agency was clear and prompt, Laurel was super easy to work with! Theres lots to do in Big Bear Lake; our family especially loved the roller coaster and alpine slide!

Just right! This property was perfect for our 5 member family. It was cozy but had everything we needed. It was close enough to the stores and restaurants but because the cabin is on a dead-end street, the location was quiet. We were able to toboggan down the side of the road and build forts and snowmen. In the evenings, we enjoyed the clean and warm hot tub. We would love to return to this property in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Forest Chalet! The house is the perfect size and our beds were comfy, not old and lumpy as Ive experienced at other rentals. The back deck with and jacuzzi was the perfect spot to hang out. The entire house was nice and clean. We would def stay here again!

The location, cabin, beds, neighborhood, decks, and hot tub were all 5 stars! We cant wait to plan our next trip back! My family and I had a wonderful stay at your cabin. Probably one of the best yet! We couldnt of asked for anything better. The cabin was meticulously clean and so comfortable and close to all of the shopping places (The Village). Weve been coming out to big bear every year for the past 5 years and this is the first year that my wife was allergy free and enjoyed her stay at big bear thanks to your very clean and pet free cabin. Thank you for having us, we will most definitely recommend this cabin to all our friends and family.

We just arrived and are amazed at how cute this place is! Im personally stunned! Love, love, love all the bear & moose decorations. The furniture is so tasteful. The wood furniture especially is so fabulous. All the instructions, all the little details, just way above and beyond! Thank you so much. We didnt expect half as much. This started our 4th of July vacation off perfectly!
