Public Boat Launch
Big Bear Lake has excellent, well-maintained public launch ramps, operated by the Municipal Water District. Lake use permits required for all boats on Big Bear Lake. Permit fees are subject to change.
West Public Boat Launch
One of two public boat ramps on Big Bear Lake, Duane Boyer Public Boat Launch is the west ramp. This is a prime spot to put your own boat on Big Bear Lake. Note: ALL BOATS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A PERMIT AND WILL BE INSPECTED FOR MUSSELS. |

Boulder Bay Park
The Boulder Bay Park is a couple of miles east of the Dam. It is a nice, newer park with a lot of amenities and facilities including a large pavilion, restrooms, huge dock for fishing and a launch area for kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. Permits and inspections are required to launch. |
